When I finished with work for today my mother and I met up with my father for a picnic lunch at Capitol Lake in downtown Olympia. We had sandwiches, kale chips, apples, and a magnificent berry cobbler made by my talented madre.
Afterward we walked to an adorable cupcake boutique on Capital Boulevard called "Bonjour Cupcakes". It was delightful! Not only were the cupcakes delicious, but the atmosphere was so quaint and darling. They even had a piano for guests to play! I will definitely be returning-a dangerous prospect for my waistband.
And here they are ladies and gentlemen. 22 years and still madly in love.
